About Me

Ethan Andrew Rhoad was born and raised in Vermont. Growing up in the rural town of Brownsville he attended elementary school at Albert Bridge School and high school at Windsor High School. This was where Ethan was introduced to theatre. Prior to high school Ethan was involved with many school sports but after being diagnosed with Autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease (ADPKD) he was unable to continue playing them. Soon after he started, theatre became his passion. Acting in every show at his time in Windsor, he also branched out doing theatre for other community and young theatre companies. During his senior year he acted in his first professional film, If I Could Run, playing the main antagonist Josh.

After graduating high school in 2018, Ethan attended the University of Maine as a theatre major and film studies minor. In these years Ethan really matured as a performer. Getting diverse roles on stage from Napoleon in Animal Farm all the way to portraying Lawrence “Titus” Oates in Terra Nova. In 2021 Ethan starred in the independent film, Dragonfly Boy as Graham, and won the IndieFEST Award of Merit for a Leading Actor (Student). The film has garnered over 1.2 million views on YouTube and has been selected for three film festivals. Ethan has acted in two more films Ever Since August and The Game which are waiting to be released.
